Privacy policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

This policy explains how Reperta ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit this website or get in touch about a discovery engagement. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

We do not run advertising, social media pixels, or behavioural analytics on this site, and we do not buy, sell, or share marketing lists.

How we use it

Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are legitimate interests (responding to business enquiries, running the site) and contract (preparing for or delivering an engagement you have asked about).

Client estate data

Discovery engagements involve scanning a client's reporting estate under a separate written agreement, which governs that data. In short: scans run read-only, extraction focuses on structure and metadata rather than record-level contents, and estate data is never used for anything other than producing that client's discovery pack.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any engagement that follows, then delete it. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on short rolling windows.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict our processing. To exercise any of these rights, get in touch through the contact and booking link on our homepage, or reply to any message we have sent you. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
